Keir Starmer’s speech yesterday was yet another masterclass in gaslighting the British public.

After months of deception and deflection—Keir Starmer has finally admitted what many suspected all along. He knew the full details of Southport killer Axel Rudakubana’s extremist background while branding those protesting the attack as “far-right thugs.”

Instead of offering the public honesty, Starmer’s government allowed the nation to believe a carefully constructed narrative—that the killer was merely a “choir boy from Wales.” Meanwhile, concerned citizens were vilified, arrested, and even jailed for daring to ask legitimate questions.

But now, the truth is out. Rudakubana was referred to Prevent on three separate occasions, found in possession of an Al-Qaeda manual, and caught with deadly ricin poison. According to sources, Starmer knew all of this almost immediately, yet he chose to remain silent for months—branding anyone who dared to ask questions as “far-right.”

A Double Standard That Exposes Starmer’s Hypocrisy

For months, Starmer justified the information blackout by claiming it was to “protect the trial.” But his hypocrisy is glaring. Why did his same caution not apply when he rushed to label the Finsbury Park Mosque attack a “terrorist attack” within hours?

Starmer has had no hesitation calling out terrorism when it suited his political agenda in the past. His inconsistencies are astonishing.

Double standards. Keir Starmer wasted no time declaring the attack on Finsbury Park Mosque a “terrorist attack” within hours of the attack.

After Stockport, the Labour government wasted no time in spinning a false narrative, smearing critics as “far-right extremists.” MPs were gagged from asking questions in Parliament. Merseyside Police have since revealed they were also blocked from sharing key details—reportedly under the orders of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), the very institution Starmer once led.

Silence, Spin, and a Chilling Abuse of Power

If Starmer truly believed in justice, why were social media users jailed for posting the truth? Individuals like Wayne O’Rourke remain behind bars today simply for sharing what has now been proven correct. Instead of listening to the concerns of the public, Labour weaponised the justice system to silence dissent.

On 31st July 2024, Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner even went on national media, dismissing suggestions of terrorism as “fake news” and “conspiracy theories.” In any normal situation, the appropriate response would have been a measured “no comment on an ongoing investigation.” Instead, senior Labour figures deliberately misled the public, steering attention away from the truth.

By Starmer’s own standards, Rayner’s comments could have prejudiced the jury. So why was his government so quick to dismiss valid concerns while suppressing the facts? And why now haven’t they still corrected the record?

The Shameful Cover-Up

The Labour government had every opportunity to come clean. Instead, they chose to suppress vital information while stoking tensions. The Telegraph has now revealed that frustrated Merseyside detectives wanted to release details about Rudakubana’s extremist ties and crimes but were explicitly told not to.

“Starmer’s response to the brutal murders of Elsie, Bebe, and Alice was nothing short of disgraceful—cold, calculated, and utterly devoid of humanity,” said one former Conservative MP.

“Instead of honesty and leadership, we witnessed deflection, obfuscation, and a chilling reluctance to confront the truth.

“Once again we’re seeing Keir Starmer trying to use law to his advantage. Whether it’s throwing injunctions out to the media or using legal speak to withhold vital information from the public… we see it time and time again… especially when it stops conclusions he finds politically inconvenient. It’s his playbook. He gags the media, he gags MPs, he gags the authorities… it’s chilling.”

The Information Vacuum That Fuelled Riots

The Government’s own terrorism watchdog, Jonathan Hall KC, the independent reviewer of terrorist legislation, has sounded the alarm over Starmer’s “information vacuum” that followed the Southport murders, which triggered riots across the country.

“One of the problems was the consequence of giving out so little information about what motivated the killings of three young girls,” Hall said.

“I think… when matters of high importance in the public mind happen, that, as far as is possible, the police, the government, and the media should level with them… Those institutions will not continue to enjoy the trust that they have had to date if there is any general sense that things are being hidden.”

Hall concluded that people “quite reasonably wanted to know as much as possible about a massacre of children.”

The Real Threat: Starmer’s Censorship and Incompetence

As Reform UK leader, Nigel Farage pointed out it was the refusal to be transparent which fuelled public unrest, not so-called “misinformation.”

The riots in Southport might have been avoided if the public had been told the truth from the start. Instead, Starmer chose to demonise those who demanded answers and doubled down on his deception. And now, in a desperate attempt to deflect blame, he is pointing fingers at the police and other institutions, insisting that they failed in their duties. This is the hallmark of Starmer’s leadership—blame-shifting and denial, while the British people suffer the consequences.

Questions That Demand Answers

The public deserves to know:

  • Who ordered the gagging of police and MPs?
  • Why were vital details about Rudakubana’s extremist background withheld?
  • What is Starmer’s connection to the Rudakubana family and their arrival in the UK?
  • Will those unjustly jailed for speaking the truth now be released?

A Government in Crisis, A Nation Betrayed

Starmer’s government is failing on every front—whether it’s immigration, national security, or basic honesty. The truth has been hidden, public trust has been shattered, and the consequences are dire.

No inquiry chaired by one of Starmer’s legalist allies will sweep this under the carpet. The British people are watching, and they will not forget.

The families of Bebe, Elsie, and Alice deserve better. No more lies. No more cover-ups. Just accountability.
