Ministers have admitted they cannot yet say what Andy Burnham’s No 10 North costs to run each year, almost three months after the Prime Minister opened his Manchester headquarters as the “engine room” of growth. The costs, they say, will appear in Cabinet Office accounts that are not due until next year.
