Calling all True Blue Tories… You need to become a member (or rejoin) before 7pm on Wednesday (24 July 2024) to be able to vote for our new leader.
As you know, Rishi Sunak has formally stepped down as leader of the Conservative Party sparking the start of the process to elect a new leader. He will remain acting leader of the party until a successor is appointed on Saturday, November 2.
But for members to be able to vote in the forthcoming leadership election which will take place as per the rules, they will need to have been a member for 3 months. So anyone joining after 7pm tomorrow on Wednesday 24 July won’t be able to vote.
WE NEED YOU! REAL CONSERVATIVES! The new leader will decide the Party’s direction and therefore it is in our interest to elect a leader who we can support our values and puts conservatism back on the menu!
HOW CAN WE DO THIS? By being a member of the Conservative Party!
If you’re a current member, great. But if you’ve never been a member, you’ve quit or your membership has lapsed, PLEASE join before 7pm on Wednesday 24th July 2024 so you can vote in our new leader.

Pathetic. By giving people until the end of this month to join and get voting rights, it is a shameless attempt to buy membership with an illusion of a tiny amount of power.
In reality, it will encourage lefties to sign up and vote in a bad leader, as happened to Labour with Corbyn.
I know the CP is cash-strapped, but this is desperate stuff.
