“So much for an impartial Civil Service, the Gray report now looks like a Left-wing stitch up against a Tory prime minister.”
The Sue Gray report should be null and void after Partygate investigator Sue Gray has been offered a job as Sir Keir Starmer’s chief of staff. Please sign the petition below.
Sue Gray’s advising barrister on the report has also been revealed as a Labour supporting anti-Brexiteer who publicly criticised Boris Johnson on his Twitter account that he has now deleted.
Conservative MPs and Boris supporters across the country have expressed anger that Partygate investigator Sue Gray has now been offered a job as Sir Keir Starmer’s chief of staff. Senior Conservatives say Ms Gray’s desire to work for Labour discredits her report into lockdown-breaking parties in Downing Street and raises concerns about her passing sensitive information on the Government to the opposition in the future.
Former Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries said:
“Sue Gray’s appointment completely invalidates her Partygate report and shows that there was a deep laid plot to get rid of Boris Johnson. The former PM accepted her two reports on the strict understanding that she was impartial.”
Jacob Rees-Mogg added: “So much for an impartial Civil Service, the Gray report now looks like a Left-wing stitch up against a Tory prime minister.”
Former parliamentary secretary for the Cabinet Office Brenan Clarke-Smith said: “Starmer appointing Sue Gray as his Chief of Staff reveals what many have suspected all along: Partygate was a deliberate and manufactured plot to oust a Brexit-backing Conservative prime minister. The validity of the Sue Gray investigation and its findings is now completely destroyed.”
MP Marcus Longhi added: ‘Wow. So much for impartiality. We now know the true motivations behind the investigation. There is a real stench to this.’
On 21 April 2022, the House of Commons passed a motion tabled by the leader of the Labour Party, calling for the then prime minister, Boris Johnson, to be investigated by the Commons Privileges Committee for having potentially misled parliament over ‘partygate’ allegations. Relying on evidence in the Gray Report and being led by Labour’s Harriet Harman, the committee is due to meet with Mr Johnson later this month to decide his fate.
Conservative MP Mark Jenkinson said: “The privileges committee document reveals that the material written by Sue Gray, who we now know is Keir Starmer’s chief of staff, is at the heart of its work.
“This is a total circus. How can the work Keir Starmer’s top political adviser be used against Boris like this? This cannot possibly be a fair process.”
After Boris was told Sue Gray was to be joining Labour at their chief of staff, he said:
“I note that the Committee has emphasised their wish to be fair. They have made reference on new fewer than 26 occasions to a personage they bashfully describe as ‘the Second Permanent Secretary to the Cabinet Office.”
“That is of course, Sue Gray. So it is surreal to discover that the Committee proposes to rely on evidence culled and orchestrated by Sue Gray, who has just been appointed Chief of Staff to the Leader of the Labour Party.”
A Labour supporting, Boris bashing barrister called Daniel Stilitz was also the legal advisor to Sue Gray as she investigated the alleged parties in Downing Street and Whitehall.
So questions are also arising over Barrister Stilitz’s neutrality after a string of social media posts attacking the Government and the Prime Minister emerged on his Twitter account which he has now deleted.
In one tweet, as the Prime Minister negotiated Brexit, Barrister Stilitz suggested if you trusted the PM you were a “mug.”
In other past tweets, the barrister referred to “Johnson’s fake news machine” and the QC even retweeted a comment calling Boris Johnson “our reckless dangerous PM.” He also said “the Government’s current rhetoric is nothing compared to to the bile they’ll serve up during the forthcoming election campaign.”
In another post the barrister encouraged his followers to join Labour writing: “Why not join Labour? Now seems as good a time as any.”
The barrister even criticised the Prime Minister for making a legal trip to see his mother, one of the last times he saw her before she died.
We believe Sue Gray’s appointment and her legal advising barrister who showed either direct bias against the PM or apparent bias against him, means the Sue Gray report cannot now stand as an official document going forward.

It’s time the Conservatives realised life exists outside London , we wanted Brexit we still want Brexit & Boris to deliver on the 2019 Manifesto . Sunak is a Cuckoo in No 10 & Hunt , well he is not a Conservative
how would Sue Gray, the ethics Tsar, have handled the case of Sue Gray, the would-be Labour Party operator? I hope that she would at least have insisted that she delay taking up her post for two years after leaving Crown service.
Max totally agree with you. We want to have Boris back and Brexit to happen.
I detest the new policy that Sunak has said. I originally from Belfast, and know what will happen, they not accept it.
I have had concerns about Sunak all along.
Boris back, Out of EU, no to illegal immigrants, had enough, stop RNLI bringing them in and Border Control. Was under the impression latter were employed to do this not escort or bring them in.
Boris is the PM I voted for, not Sunak, who was installed in a political coup created by him & his followers for the advancement of his own career. If you want my vote again – & want any chance of winning the next GE – you’ll bring back Boris.
URGENT MESSAGE.
We are so frustrated, with this Sue Gray report.Take a strong look at her sons review, where they are grooming her son to take over Bo Jos Constituency.
Sue Gray needs to go, she’s supposed to be INPARTIAL, as a Civil Servant. We noticed some other issues, in the write up, where she’s been close to Starmner for along time, on this . Sunak got in through a political coup.! Bo Jo should never have let Sunak in. Gray and Starmer, are making sure they get Brois out of the way. We WANT AND NEED BORIS BACK IN, GRAY CHUCKED OUT, AND ALSO STARMNER. This party NEEDS to start, taking back the ground, that seems to be slipping down the pan.! Do you really want that. I have asked as a member supporter of Conservative, can I go on the Apps list, for this, and also SMS. I asked for this to happen quite some time ago. Conservative Post, and Sue Director, time to start, taking the ground back, over turn Sue Grays report, Party Gate the children of Kindergarten, running this MAINLY LABOUR IN CONTROL, well they are definatley up to ousting Boris. Gray needs to have her report, well and truly over turned, and up date on the Police Investigations against her, and joining Labour. We understand your not allowed to do that, for quite some time after leaving. Please can some one high up, update us in what the group, is doing, and what’s happening about Sunak before, Labour walk into the keys of 10 Downing Street. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We want Boris back now. We have put our phone number etc, on our application to be in this group. Please can we have a contact phone number, to this group? I have tried many times, to make contact with the Conservative Post,
URGENT MESSAGE.
We need to have feed back on this, and want phone number to call, about Gray and what’s going to happen to deal with this.. FEEDBACK PLEASE.
Sue Greys impartiality is so obviously null and void….. She wants to work for the leader of the bloody opposition. And the sanctimonious twit “Sir” Kier Starmer will not let us know when the recruitment process began. And his top bench say the tories are full of sleaze…. Shocking.
