Prime Minister Boris Johnson has received his first dose of the Covid-19 Vaccine this evening. He was given the Oxford–AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine by nurse Lily Harrington at St Thomas’ Hospital in central London.
The Prime Minister took to Twitter to spread the news saying:
“I’ve just received my first dose of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine.
“Thank you to all the incredible scientists, NHS staff and volunteers who helped make this happen.
“Getting the jab is the best thing we can do to get back to the lives we miss so much.
“Let’s get the jab done.”
