There have been reports of explosions at Kabul airport.
The first explosion happened outside Kabul’s airport after someone detonated a suicide vest and then a gunfight erupted.
All airport gates processing evacuees are now closed and initial sources have described the incident as a “complex attack.”
At least three American troops have been wounded in the suicide bombing but it is “too early to know for sure” if there are any British casualties.
Two further explosions have also been reported near Kabul’s airport, Fox News has confirmed.
A Taliban official says 13 people have been killed.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson will chair a COBR meeting later this afternoon.
