British engineering giant JCB is set to make waves at the LAMMA Show 2025, unveiling an unprecedented number of innovative machines for on-farm materials handling.
Visitors to Hall 17, Stand 740 at the NEC Birmingham on January 15-16 can expect to see a showcase of cutting-edge technology and British-built efficiency.
The exhibit will spotlight JCB’s dominance in materials handling and agriculture, with a lineup that includes the world-renowned JCB Fastrac iCON high-speed tractors, the industry-leading Loadall telescopic handlers, and a wide range of wheeled loaders tailored for farming needs, from ultra-compact machines to the largest and most powerful models.
New Innovations in Loadall Telehandlers
Leading the pack are the new top-spec AGRI Pro versions of the 538-60 and 560-80 Loadalls, introducing JCB’s groundbreaking DualTech VT hydro-mechanical transmission to the 6m class for the first time. This innovation combines hydrostatic precision at low speeds with direct-drive efficiency for faster field and road travel, setting a new benchmark for performance.
Key features of the AGRI Pro spec include an upgraded driveline, with robust axles, wider tyres, and a dual-axle braking system, enhancing durability and productivity for farm operations.
For high-lift tasks, the new JCB Loadall 542-100 offers exceptional capabilities, boasting a 4.2-tonne lift capacity and a 9.8m lift height. Despite its advanced features, including a more robust driveline for 50kph models, the machine retains the manoeuvrability needed for daily work in tight farm spaces.
Revolutionising Wheeled Loaders
JCB will also unveil two new wheeled loaders catering to diverse farm needs. The 403E Full Cab, an ultra-compact battery-electric model, prioritises operator comfort with minimal downtime. At the other end of the spectrum, the powerful 435S heavy-duty loader benefits from increased engine power and torque, alongside a six-speed powershift system that boosts productivity in silage and muck operations.
The 435S also offers a new load weighing feature, now available across JCB’s full-size Loadalls and top-end wheeled loaders, enhancing efficiency and precision in farm tasks.
Compact Yet Mighty: TM Series Expands
JCB’s telescopic wheeled loader range expands with the addition of the all-new TM280 and TM280S models. These mid-range machines combine a compact design—measuring just 2m wide and 2.6m tall—with powerful performance. The TM280 features a 109hp hydrostatic drive, while the TM280S boasts a 130hp DualTech VT transmission, offering up to 4.8m lift height and 2.75m lift capacity.
Adding intrigue, JCB has teased a forthcoming addition to the TM range, with details to be revealed as specifications are finalised.
