The English lions will meet France in the World Cup quarter-finals next Saturday after an impressive win against Senegal 3-0.

Gareth Southgate’s side have sealed a place in the World Cup quarter-finals after seeing off the current African champions in Doha.

After England’s goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made an outstanding save from Boulaye Dia, the English dominated the game which saw Jude Bellingham setting up the first goal for Jordan Henderson with a perfect cross after 38 minutes.

A combination from Phil Foden and captain Harry Kane then powered home another for England at 45 minutes.

Harry Kane is now just one behind Wayne Rooney’s all-time record of 53 England goals.

Foden’s inspired pass in the 57th minute to Bukayo Saka sealed the 3-0 English victory in the 57th minute.

England will now face France on Saturday 10th December at 7pm.
