You may have read today that a new outfit, the Centre for a Better Britain (CBB), has galloped out of the stables sounding rather a lot like… well, us. The Great British PAC.
Frankly, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and it seems we’ve been very flattered indeed.
Let’s be clear: The Great British PAC was there first. We’ve been assembling a national coalition… of the elite, yes, but also of the energetic. Our mission? Nothing short of a national renaissance.
For the last year, we’ve been building from the bottom up: a people-powered organisation with serious grassroots muscle, real legal firepower, and a bold policy platform already in motion. We’re not drafting white papers for dusty shelves, we’re already repealing, reviewing, and preparing a government-in-waiting with a legislative blueprint ready for Day 1 of 2029. A state of the nation document and grassroots-style manifesto is underway. No fiddling around the edges. No waiting for permission. And no loyalty to any particular party. The only people we answer to are the British people.
We’ve consulted the brightest minds. We’ve built bridges across the patriotic right. And yes, many of the names in that Times piece heralding the new organisation? People we’ve spoken to. Some, we took into our circle and invited to our board. It happens.
So when I spoke to one of them — their Chairman, James Orr — this morning, I said what needed to be said: If your mission is to save Britain — fantastic. But do try not to photocopy the homework and call it your own. That said, if they’re serious, we’re open. As I told him: We want what’s best for Britain. If you can help deliver it… let’s talk. Who knows? We might even work together.
But let’s also be honest about what the CBB really is: a partisan vehicle for Reform. That appears to be its sole focus — which is fine, but a far cry from what its Chairman was publicly advocating just two months ago.
And here’s a political reality: Reform is in urgent need of a coherent, unifying philosophy. Even some of their top brass admit it. If this new vehicle helps provide that intellectual backbone — good. Political parties don’t just need passion and protest. They need ideas, depth, and direction.
If Reform can also democratise properly, move beyond personality politics, and embrace a serious political philosophy, the country will be stronger for it. Bravo.
But here’s the key distinction between them and us: The Great British PAC is not bound to any one party. We are proudly cross-party, open to working with anyone who puts the United Kingdom first. We believe that’s where unity will come in 2029 — and it’s exactly why we’re investing serious time and talent into building the infrastructure of revival across the entire patriotic, so-called “right” — cross-party, cross-regional, cross-sector.
We’re a proud, broad patriotic church. We are not a front for any particular party or politician. Yes, we’re talking to Nigel’s team… in fact Nigel was one of the first people I spoke to at length about the PAC. But we’re also engaging with Kemi’s team, Rob Jenrick, Suella, Priti, Rupert Lowe, Nick Tenconi, the DUP, TUV — and more besides. Our reach goes deep into the U.S. with major PACs and donors… and deeper still into the UK’s shires, cities, and high streets.
While others may whisper about “radical structural change,” we’re already delivering it. Our Great Repeal Programme is live. Substantial groundwork has already been laid. Our policy platform is built from the ground up — crowd-sourced from the very people other think tanks claim to represent. We’ve got a judicial review underway on Chagos. And our country directors? Real fighters. Boots on the ground, delivering county by county.
We’re not looking left or right. We’ve got our blinkers on… racehorses charging toward the finish line. And no matter how many new stables pop up, this horse is already running.
Perspective matters. Four years is a lifetime in politics, long enough for governments to fall, movements to rise, and the people to take back control. While others produce glossy donor decks, we’re building the future. We don’t care what colour rosette someone wears today. What matters is that, by 2029, 650 patriots are ready to lead. We’re united by a love of our country.
And between now and then, we’re not just planning. We’re protecting. We don’t need to win every lawsuit. We just need to tie this dreadful Labour government in knots… and we will.
The Great British PAC doesn’t just think. We act.
We’re also refreshingly upfront and straightforward, because when the people are your boss, that’s the only way to be.
The CBB may say they’re not “simply a Reform think tank” and “it doesn’t matter whether the cat is black or white so long as it catches mice.”
True. But the cat should at least be honest about whose house it lives in.
