Let’s get one thing straight: the idea that Keir Starmer should sell our hard-won sovereignty back to Brussels just to shave a few minutes off a queue at passport control is, frankly, mad.
Not just mad… laughable, delusional, and deeply out of touch.
Yet that’s exactly what Starmer and his brigade of champagne socialists have just done.
These are people who waft through first-class lounges, sip flat whites in private jets, and skip the lines entirely, all while lecturing the rest of us about the supposed horror of waiting five extra minutes in an airport queue.
Well, I’ve got news for them: there are no horror queues. I travel plenty, and I’ve rarely seen a passport control line that took longer than it does to check the headlines on GB News. And let’s be honest, quite often, the EU line is actually longer. It certainly often is in big cities like Paris and Berlin.
So what are we really being asked to give up our sovereignty for?
Let’s be brutally honest: this isn’t about queues. It’s about rejoining the club, putting Britain back under the thumb of a bloated Brussels bureaucracy to soothe the egos of a political class that never believed in Brexit in the first place.
And now they’re trying to sell it with spin. “Oh, the queues! Think of the holidays!” they cry — as if freedom and self-governance are worth trading for a few extra minutes at the luggage carousel.
Give us a break.
We voted to take back control, not to hand it away the moment someone waved a fast-track pass in our faces.
Britain doesn’t need to crawl back to Brussels, cap in hand, just to spare a few frequent flyers the indignity of queueing with the rest of us.
So no, Starmer, we will not trade independence for convenience. Whatever you push through now, we will overturn.

This deal must be scrapped in 2029. And it will be. The Great British PAC will see to it.
