Keir Starmer is a danger to Britain. We are staring down the barrel of his latest draconian policy—a tax that threatens to wipe out our cherished family farms and hand control of Britain’s food supply and land to global corporations.
If you’re wondering where you’ve seen this strategy before, it’s straight out of the old communist playbook: use state power to control the food supply and then control the people.
Let’s be clear: Labour’s new inheritance tax, which slaps a 20% levy on family farms valued over £1 million, is nothing short of a land grab. Starmer keeps insisting this won’t affect most farmers, but the numbers tell a different story. According to the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), the average UK farm is valued at £2.2 million, with nearly half exceeding £1.5 million. Starmer either hasn’t done his homework or, more likely, he’s being wilfully misleading.
This isn’t just a tax on the wealthy, as Labour would have you believe. This is a targeted strike at the heart of our rural communities. Estimates based on the government’s own Agricultural Property Relief (APR) data indicate that around 500 food-producing farms will be hit by this tax each year. Over a typical 40-year generational cycle, that’s up to 20,000 farms gone. Just imagine it… fields that once produced British beef, milk, and grain turned into wastelands of solar panels, wind turbines, and ‘green schemes’ managed by faceless corporate giants.
A Land Grab Masquerading as ‘Progress’
What we’re seeing here is a naked attempt by Labour to push our small, independent farmers out of business. Once these family farms are taxed into oblivion, who will swoop in to buy the land? It won’t be fellow farmers, that’s for sure. No, it will be the corporate behemoths, the global elites who see farmland not as the beating heart of Britain but as another asset to be traded, packaged, and controlled.
You will buy their solar power, you will eat their lab-grown food, and you will stay silent, citizen. However, this isn’t Orwell’s 1984 — it’s England and it’s unfolding right before our eyes in 2024.
Let’s not be naive. We’ve also seen this tactic before, haven’t we? In America, under the Democrats, we saw them losing an acre of farmland every minute to so-called ‘green initiatives’ and corporate land grabs. Foreign investors now own over 35 million acres of U.S. agricultural land. Across parts of Africa and South America, it’s much worse. According to Land Matrix, an independent land monitoring initiative, over a hundred million acres have now been sold off in the past decade to foreign investors and Big Agri.
This is the new face of imperialism — where control isn’t seized with guns and armies, but with taxes, regulations, and backroom deals.
And if you think this can’t happen in the UK, think again. Labour’s inheritance tax isn’t about raising funds for public services or the NHS; it’s about clearing the land so that their corporate paymasters can move in. The socialists may not be frog-marching farmers off their land like in some dystopian drama, but they’re doing the next best thing: taxing them to the point where they have no choice but to sell.
A Betrayal of the British Countryside
Let’s take a moment to appreciate what’s really at stake here. Our family farms aren’t just about food production; they are the backbone of our countryside, our heritage, our way of life. These farms have been passed down through generations, with blood, sweat, and tears. They are the stewards of our rural landscapes, the guardians of our fields, hedgerows, and wildlife.
Labour’s tax will see this heritage replaced with soulless fields of glass and steel. And who benefits? Certainly not the British people. It’s the global corporations, the climate zealots on steroids, and the big banks who will profit. These are the same elites who would rather see us importing our food from halfway around the world than supporting our local farmers.
The True Cost of Starmer’s ‘Green Revolution’
Labour will, of course, dress this up in the language of sustainability and climate action. But let’s call it what it is: a betrayal of Britain’s farmers. Starmer’s so-called ‘green revolution’ is nothing more than a cynical attempt to curry favour with the eco-lobby while lining the pockets of global corporations.
Let’s not forget that it’s the small farmers who are the real custodians of our land. They’re the ones who care about soil health, crop rotation, and sustainable farming practices – not the corporates who see the land as just another commodity to be exploited. By driving these farmers out of business, Labour will only succeed in turning our green and pleasant land into a barren landscape controlled by a handful of elites.
Standing with British Farmers
It’s time to fight back. It’s time to support our farmers, not strangle them with taxes. We need to stop Labour’s cruel farm tax before it’s too late. The future of our countryside, our food security, and our very way of life is at stake.
The British people have always backed the underdog, the small business, the family farm. We won’t stand by while Labour hands over control of our food supply to corporate giants. We need to make our voices heard, to rally behind our farmers, and to send a clear message to Keir Starmer: hands off our farms.
Because in the end, this isn’t just about taxes or policies. It’s about who we are as a nation. Do we want to be a country that values independence, self-sufficiency, and hard work? Or do we want to become just another cog in the corporate machine, beholden to faceless elites who couldn’t care less about our way of life?
As Robert F. Kennedy Jr once said: “Wiping out the small farmers and giving control of food production to corporations is not in the interest of humanity.”
The choice is clear. It’s time to stand up, fight back, and save our farms. Because once they’re gone, there’s no getting them back.
