Let’s be clear: we are living through nothing short of a media revolution. A reformation. A righteous mutiny aboard the creaking ship of state-broadcasted pap.
And at the helm? Many of the so-called “outcasts” of the MSM – now our modern-day pamphleteers, liberated from the greasy grip of state subsidies and corporate strings.
The Alternative Media Isn’t the Future, It’s Already the Present
Dan Wootton’s Outspoken is racking up over 130 million views on YouTube alone. That’s not just a number… it’s a clarion call to the crumbling establishment. That’s more eyeballs than many legacy publications see in a decade.
While the BBC is burning taxpayer money like a bonfire of unwanted Christmas jumpers and its viewership is aging faster than a ripe stilton in the sun: Dan, Laurence, and Calvin are lean, hungry, and crucially, profitable. Yes, profitable. A word that certain MSM outlets might wish to Google.
Meanwhile, the BBC continues to exist in a time warp where enforced subscriptions… sorry, “licence fees”… still masquerade as public good.
Let’s be honest, forcing citizens to pay for their own indoctrination is starting to feel a bit… Soviet, isn’t it?

The MAGA-isation of Britain? Good. About Time.
The Telegraph article smugly compares these rising stars to Trump’s America – as if that’s some kind of insult. Newsflash: Donald Trump is now in his second term. He didn’t get there by sipping flat prosecco at The Guardian’s summer party. He got there by harnessing new media, telling people the truth as they saw it, and bulldozing the cathedral of hypocrisy.
This isn’t the “alt-Right.” This is the alternative truth, because the mainstream has so lost its tether to reality that even calling a man a man now requires a risk assessment.
GB News? A Missed Opportunity.
GB News – a noble and brilliant idea but dare I say it… perhaps being done in by weak knees and a bit of corporate cowardice? Once hailed as the last redoubt of free speech, it’s now starting to resemble the final season of a Netflix show you only keep watching out of habit. It’s such as shame as they had so many firebrands on the payroll. But then sacked the likes of Dan, Calvin and Laurence for saying spicy things? On air? On a free speech network?
Let’s be honest, it’s GB News’s loss. Their tally of fallen warriors is actually staggering: Dan Wootton, Mark Steyn, Andrew Neil, Calvin Robinson, Mark Dolan, Mercy Muroki, Laurence Fox, Simon McCoy, Darren McCaffrey, Colin Brazier, Alex Phillips, Liam Halligan – the list goes on, reading like a ‘who’s who’ of stellar brave British contrarianism.
But maybe these lionhearts weren’t cancelled at all. Maybe they were liberated – and we’re all the better for it.
Profit, Power, and the People
Then there’s Carl Benjamin’s Lotus Eaters, which is flourishing. Konstantin Kisin and Francis Foster’s Triggernometry – doing God’s work with over 1.3 million subscribers and counting. Mahyar Tousi, the relentless daily voice of common sense and calm indignation, building a fiercely loyal following with every no-nonsense upload. Alex Phillips’s superb That’s What She Said channel and Andrew Gold’s brilliant Heretics. And even Piers Morgan, no stranger to self-promotion, has realised he’d rather be viral than editorially neutered. Everyone with a brain and a broadband connection knows what’s happening: the people have walked away from the puppet show and are consuming raw, unfiltered reality, served up by people they actually like and trust.
And the establishment? They’re rattled. Perhaps this is why the mainstream are resorting to smears, dog whistles, and sneering pejoratives like “alt-Right.” It’s the only weapon they have left in a war they’ve already lost.
A Final Word to the Establishment
You had your moment. For decades, you monopolised the narrative, dictated the discourse, and told the public what to think—wrapped in the illusion of impartiality. But the jig is up.
You tried to silence Dan Wootton – he’s louder, freer, and more profitable than ever.
You mocked Laurence Fox – he’s laughing back, with a platform you can’t control.
You dismissed Calvin Robinson – he now commands audiences BBC Three would auction its soul to attract.
We’re done looking to the BBC, Sky, or The Guardian for answers. We’re tuning in to Dan. To Carl. To Calvin. To Mahyar. To an ever-growing legion of truth-tellers who speak boldly, think freely, and, most importantly, don’t ask for permission.
The people have spoken.
They’re not watching the news.
They’re watching YouTube.
