Last week, the UK’s Net migration figures were published for both 2023 and a revised figure for 2022 which led to a combined net migration figure of over 1.5 million people in two years.
Young people today – my generation, are facing rising rents, the prospect of never being able to own our own homes, not being able to get a doctor’s appointment and being pushed out of top universities due to them prioritising International students.
For example, did you know the London School of Economics is now made up of 70% of students who have lived outside of the UK?
All this means my generation are having to delay starting families because who on earth would want to raise a family in an unstable home, where you probably can’t even get them a space in the local school when they grow up?
But what my generation need to wake up and realise, is that mass immigration is a large contributor to a lot of these issues that we as a generation are facing.
Immigration is causing our public services to become overwhelmed, the demand for housing to increase consistently and not organically which is causing house prices and rent to rocket far beyond the reach of young people.

We are being pushed out of top universities and therefore the top jobs because universities are favouring international students who use their student status as a loophole to bring in dependants. Wages are low because mass immigration brings down the wage which makes it even harder for young people to even hope of buying a home.
Young people need to realise that if you want a future in this country, to be able to buy a house, get a good job, to raise a family, then we need to stop cheering on ludicrously high immigration numbers.

Young people need to realise that mass immigration is the real reason a lot of us have no future in our own country.
And I for one most certainly will not be lectured by the rich Adil Rays of the world who have been fortunate enough to own their own homes and make a place in Britain and who aren’t being forced out due to uncontrolled mass migration. These people have no idea what it is like to be a young person in Britain today.
I am always going to stand up for my generation and fight for our right to have a future in Britain. But in order for young people to have a future in Britain, they first need to start realising and being honest about the consequences of uncontrolled mass immigration which is harming our generation the most
