A major new charity event is set to hit central London this month, as the Women’s Safety Initiative (WSI) teams up with Just Therapy for a night of music with a mission.
‘Stand in Strength’ — spearheaded by WSI’s Deputy Director Anna McGovern, will take place on 30th August 2025, with every penny raised going directly to provide subsidised therapy for survivors of grooming gangs and sexual abuse.
The funds will ensure vulnerable women can access essential support through Just Therapy’s services, run by campaigner James Esses.
Founded to expose the dangers of uncontrolled immigration and put women and children first, WSI has become a rallying point for over 700 women nationwide. The group champions victims’ voices, demands tougher protections, and isn’t afraid to speak out on issues many feel are being ignored.
Its work ranges from creating local chapters to unite concerned women across the country, to delivering campaign training and spearheading national activism on policies that protect women’s safety, culture, and national identity.

The Women’s Safety Initiative exists to protect women and children, to speak out about the dangers others would rather ignore, and to fight for real solutions. We now have over 700 women across the country standing with us, and this concert is about turning that strength into direct help for survivors. Every ticket sold helps pay for therapy sessions for survivors – it’s a night of music that makes a real difference. I hope you can join us.”
