Before Keir Starmer kneels at the altar of Brussels, let’s remind him: they stole our vaccines, they abandoned Northern Ireland, and they would do it again in a heartbeat if it suited them.
Keir Starmer—ever the eager Europhile, forever gazing wistfully across the Channel as though Brussels holds the keys to Britain’s salvation.
And yet, before he drapes himself in the EU flag and serenades Ursula von der Leyen with a rendition of Ode to Joy, let us take a moment to recall a rather glaring historical fact.
Yes, dear reader, let’s remember that the EU triggered Article 16 and STOLE our vaccines! Stole them, swiped them, hoarded them like a dragon atop its gold hoard—except, rather than a dragon, it was a panicked, bureaucratic behemoth floundering in its own incompetence. And rather than gold, it was vaccines, the supposed lifeblood of the battle at the time against Covid-19.
Do not let anyone—even Two-Tier Keir, with his lawyerly obfuscations and ambiguous smirks—tell you otherwise. The EU, in its unbridled desperation, blocked life-saving vaccines from reaching the UK. The jabs, which were destined for British arms, never arrived. NEVER. Instead, we were met with a sudden invocation of Article 16 of the Northern Ireland Protocol—yes, the same clause that Brussels screeched and wailed about whenever the UK even so much as hinted at using it.
The EU, in its unbridled desperation, blocked life-saving vaccines from reaching the UK. The jabs, which were destined for British arms, never arrived. NEVER.
Let us not forget what this meant—not just for Britain, but for Northern Ireland too. The EU, which claims to be the guardian of peace, had no regard for the delicate balance of the Good Friday Agreement, nor did it spare a thought for the very border between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland that it had so fervently claimed was sacred. It acted in naked self-interest, jeopardising stability, ignoring protocol, and, above all, proving beyond all doubt that when push comes to shove, the EU looks after itself—and no one else.
And now, at a time when the spectre of economic uncertainty looms, with Donald Trump rattling his tariff sabre and eyeing the EU with steely intent, the UK finds itself at a crossroads. Does Starmer stand firm, reminding the world that Brexit was not just a decision but a necessary step to shield ourselves from the worst excesses of European mismanagement? Or does he, in his infinite naivety, throw us back into the clutches of Brussels, exposing us to the very risks from which Brexit sought to liberate us?
The EU, let’s be clear, has not changed. It remains the same protectionist fortress that would sacrifice its own allies in pursuit of short-term gain. And yet, despite this, our this Labour government seems intent on grovelling his way back into its embrace. Oh, Keir, you starry-eyed Eurocrat, have you learned nothing?
Brexit was, and remains, Britain’s shield against precisely this kind of madness. It gave us the agility to procure vaccines swiftly, the independence to strike our own trade deals, and the resilience to withstand economic shocks without the suffocating weight of EU bureaucracy.
So, before Keir Starmer kneels at the altar of Brussels, let’s remind him: they took our vaccines, they abandoned Northern Ireland, and they would do it again in a heartbeat if it suited them.
Britain deserves better than subservience. It is time to stand tall, not crawl back.
