Two British nationals and the child of another British national were killed in the Kabul terror attack on 26 August, the Foreign Secretary has said.
Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab said:
I was deeply saddened to learn that two British nationals and the child of another British national were killed by yesterday’s terror attack, with two more injured.
These were innocent people and it is a tragedy that as they sought to bring their loved ones to safety in the UK they were murdered by cowardly terrorists.
Yesterday’s despicable attack underlines the dangers facing those in Afghanistan and reinforces why we are doing all we can to get people out. We are offering consular support to their families.
We will not turn our backs on those who look to us in their hour of need, and we will never be cowed by terrorists.
Yes indeed, however you are the ignorant Government who knew this was happening. Trump signed the Agreement with the Taliban just before he left Government. All Biden is guilty of is complying with that Agreement. You, the British Government were totally aware this could have happened at any time, the Foreign Secretary did nothing, The British People, are aware there was not a safe withdrawal plan for our citizens or those who gave us aid. You are complicit in this massacre. Total dereliction of duty. This Government is incompetent! Yet again!
I have no confidence in this Government or this Prime Minister or most of the Cabinet. One of the worst regarding Foreign policy, Home Affairs, or Fisheries ever. I won’t mention Border Control because we don’t have one!
