Finding good news under this Labour government is a bit like trying to light a candle in a hurricane… possible, but only if you know where to look.
At the Conservative and Reformer Post, we’ve made it our mission to do exactly that. While the government flounders and the mainstream media drowns in cynicism, we bring you the stories that remind us Britain is still a force to be reckoned with.
Because no matter how many policies Labour U-turns on or how many opportunities they waste, the spirit of this country refuses to be dimmed.
This week, Britain has roared, quite literally. The Lionesses delivered a thunderous, unforgettable victory at the Euro 2025 final, claiming the title and igniting a wave of national pride that swept through the country like wildfire. The nation was electric, the celebrations were spine-tingling, and the streets of London became a sea of red and white as over 65,000 people packed the capital to welcome our champions home. In a time of dreary headlines and political decay, this was a true moment of joy, unity and English glory.
It wasn’t just on the football field that Britain triumphed. Our athletes continued their golden summer with podium-topping performances across the globe, including a spectacular world title win by the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay team in Singapore. We also won world golds in shooting, sailing, cycling, athletics… the list goes on and on. At a time when so many question what Britain still stands for, our sportsmen and women are showing the world what British determination, discipline and excellence really look like.
Meanwhile, in the world of media, the British public delivered their own verdict… GB News has officially overtaken the BBC to become the number one news channel in the country. It’s a seismic shift that proves what we already knew: the appetite for truth, unfiltered debate and real representation is alive and well. The people are voting with their remotes, and they’re voting against the stale, left-leaning bias of the establishment.
Back on the frontlines of culture, the Great British PAC has escalated its campaign to defend our heritage following the vandalism of a historic Cambridge portrait. With growing public support, and even the mayor now backing calls for action, the PAC’s tireless efforts continue to shine a light where too many institutions would rather look away. These students and young leaders are refusing to surrender our shared history to the mob. They’re fighting to protect what makes Britain British, and they’re doing it with pride.
Beyond our shores, President Trump dominated headlines again, not just for his surging poll numbers, but for his no-nonsense approach to economics. His tariffs have powered a 3% jump in US GDP this quarter, proving the experts and globalists wrong once again. During his toe-curling encounter with Keir Starmer at Turnberry, Trump reportedly gave the Labour leader a lesson in economic reality… and many Brits cheered.
Meanwhile, King Charles paid tribute to Britain’s nuclear legacy during a visit to Caithness, marking major milestones for the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. The King’s steady presence and support for British industry once again remind us of the importance of continuity, tradition and national resilience.
Elsewhere, the British Army opened a new base for its bomb disposal unit in Nuneaton, reinforcing our commitment to domestic safety and global readiness. Scotland’s space sector also saw a meteoric rise in interest, with internship applications at Orbex rocketing by 120%, a vote of confidence in British aerospace ingenuity and ambition.
And finally, history was made in the stars as the UK appointed its first female Astronomer Royal since the position was created in 1675. Another proud moment for a country that leads not just in tradition, but in talent and progress.
These are the stories that define Britain, not the chaos in Clowning Street or the endless political theatre. These are the victories, the voices, and the values that show our nation still knows how to fight, to win, and to lead. Whether on the field, in the courts, in space, or at sea, Britain is still great. And as long as there are people like those at the Great British PAC standing firm, our country has every reason to be proud and hopeful for what lies ahead.
