Lefty lawyers are putting Britons at risk and betraying democracy, says Political commentator Sophie Corcoran.

This morning campaigners and asylum seekers won an appeal at the court of appeal that deems the Rwanda scheme unlawful because they believe that Rwanda is not a safe third country.

This follows the high court’s initial ruling that the Rwanda plan was lawful. Since day one, left-wing lawyers have been doing everything they can to betray the British people.

Yesterday the House of Lords also blocked the illegal migration bill – yep, that’s right, an unelected house stopped the will of a democratically elected government and, therefore, the will of the democratically elected people.

I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to lose hope about our country ever being able to stop mass illegal immigration that’s costing our country billions and putting the lives of people in this country at risk.

It seems civil servants, left-wing lawyers and foreign pen pushers will do everything they can to stop our government from fulfilling its promise to the British people – something the British people have been demanding in pretty much every election since I was born.

“It seems civil servants, left-wing lawyers and foreign pen pushers will do everything they can to stop our government from fulfilling its promise to the British people “

They are not only putting Britons at risk, allowing people to make a mockery of our country – costing the taxpayer billions – they are also betraying democracy.

I think it’s high time we as a country start to ignore the court of international opinion and start primarily caring about the welfare and safety of the British people. I don’t care what some foreign pen pushers think observing from abroad. I care about the British taxpayers want and they have made it clear time and time again that they want to put a stop to illegal immigration.

I think it’s high time we as a country start to ignore the court of international opinion and start primarily caring about the welfare and safety of the British people.

It is disgraceful that unelected individuals will block the will of the British people for a shed load of money.

We must also look to leave the ECHR as soon as possible – it feels like that’s the only option left to start to make progress on stopping illegal boat crossings – unless, of course, you want to follow the labour’s plan, which is just to let them all in.

We must decide who we want in charge of this country. Left-wing lawyers and pen pushers or the democratically elected government chosen by the people?

We must let democracy win.

It is time to pull out of the European Convention of Human Rights. The European Courts should have no jurisdiction over the UK. Please sign the petition.
