A stunning paint scheme has been applied to Royal Navy ship HMS Tamar for the first time since the Second World War.
The paint scheme, introduced by the Royal Navy towards the end of World War 1 was intended to confuse submarines peering through their periscopes, making it hard to identify ships and confuse their calculations about the target’s speed and direction.
