Since taking office, Keir Starmer has clocked up an astonishing three working weeks’ worth of private flights, in stark contrast to his government’s rhetoric on tackling climate change.

Private Jet Hypocrisy Unveiled

In a recent exposé by Guido Fawkes, it was revealed that Starmer has spent over 120 hours jetting around the globe on private flights since becoming Prime Minister. This extravagant travel schedule contradicts Labour’s self-proclaimed stance on sustainability and emissions reduction.

Back in the run-up to the general election, Chancellor Rachel Reeves even took aim at the Conservatives, pledging to crack down on their “private jet habit”. She famously asked, “What is Rishi so afraid of up there in his private jet? Meeting a voter?” But it appears Labour’s commitment to cutting down on air travel is little more than hot air.

Starmer’s extensive use of private jets has not only raised eyebrows but also sparked accusations of hypocrisy, particularly given his government’s hard-line stance on climate targets and criticism of the previous administration.
