Meanwhile, showcasing our world-class innovation, the NHS launched a new iPhone device to help detect throat cancer. And in a major milestone for UK manufacturing, JCB celebrated the production of its one-millionth engine, while the country’s fastest-growing bus manufacturer secured a significant acquisition deal.
Meanwhile Britain is continuing to reap the rewards of Brexit – with data proving its success this week, despite Labour’s predictable attempts to blame their own failures on it.
In politics, Conservative Leader Kemi Badenoch dazzled during her first PMQs this week, cementing her leadership status. Meanwhile, new polls show the Conservatives edging ahead of Labour by 1 point, signalling a shift in Westminster.
On the military front, the Royal Navy’s icebreaker set sail on an important mission to study Antarctica’s ecosystems, and BAE Systems clinched a major contract to arm the Dutch and Belgian navies, demonstrating Britain’s cutting-edge defence capabilities. In the spirit of British pride, the nation came together today to honour our veterans’ sacrifices with Remembrance Services across the country. Lest we ever forget.
Lastly, embracing the spirit of adventure, British Army heroes scaled Everest’s treacherous slopes, commemorating a century of epic climbing feats. It’s yet another reminder of the unwavering British spirit of resilience and courage.
